He has a great reputation for getting results, but he does so without resorting to sleazy tricks or being pushy.
Unfortunately the home business industry can be known for this sometimes, so it’s refreshing to get REAL advice that makes everyone feel good
Anyway, I was on a Google Hangout and I took some important notes on tactics Ray was talking about.
These are the things that really stuck out to me … because sooooooo many people do them.
These are the tactics that repel people from your business instead of attracting them … so if you’re doing them, DON’T!
So, here they are:
- Don’t BEG your way to the top
- Don’t GUILT your way to the top
- Don’t FAVOUR your way to the top
- INSTEAD … WORK and GIVE VALUE to get to the top
So, what does that mean?
I take it to mean … Stop BEGGING your family to join your business just so you can sign someone up – because they won’t put the work into the business and they’ll just quit (I’ve been there).
It also means … Stop making your friends feel GUILTY for not joining your business – no one will feel good about this and they’ll quit too.
And … don’t get on Facebook and start spamming your “friends” via Private Message asking them to do you a FAVOUR by signing up to your latest money making scheme (uuggghhh … sooooo annoying!)
No one has become successful by doing these things.
In fact, you’ll end up back at square one and probably lose a few friends in the process.
The only thing that works is the last tip: WORK and GIVE VALUE.
That means … find out the pain of your ideal prospect and giving them a solution.
Put value into the market place CONSISTENTLY and people will start trickling your way.
CONTINUE to give value and you’ll eventually create a loyal tribe of clients and customers who will want to buy everything you have to offer.
